“How To Add Greens for Good Gut Health”

Newton’s second law of inertia states:
An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted upon by an outside force.

Humans tend to live in a state of denial. We believe that if we do what we have always done, somehow a different outcome might happen. This is a flawed strategy. If you don’t do anything…it gets worse.

For example, if you are constipated and you don’t do anything it is going to get worse.

So a friend’s hubby ate a Wendy’s Double Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries every day for lunch. He was clearly suffering from Dunlap-disease (His belly was hanging over his belt…he was done lapped over). He was self-employed and physically active, but he knew he could stand to lose a few pounds, but every day he went to Wendy’s until tomorrow came, and he suffered a heart attach in his forties.

If your are fatigued, overweight, stiff and sore, with clogged arteries, high blood sugar and high blood pressure unless you take measures today to change, where will you be tomorrow?

So how do you change?

Baby steps. Add greens to every meal. It is one step in the right direction and it is easier than you think. You buy a pound of pre-washed baby spinach and a big handful is the first thing on your plate or in your bowl at every meal. Yes every meal.

If you are eating bacon and eggs for breakfast serve it over a plate of spinach and eat it. Spinach is full of anti-oxidants, fiber, and it will make you feel fuller—longer. It will give your digestive system good bacteria.

If you are eating shredded wheat for breakfast put some spinach under it in your bowl! If you need a bit of sweetner add a couple of tablespoons of unsweetened apple sauce. This makes for a sassy combo and it won’t spike your blood sugar and leave you feeling flat in two hours.

The excuses:

But it’s too expensive….

How much are your monthly meds costing you?

I don’t like spinach….

When was the last time you ate spinach? If it was out of a can it is time for you to think outside of the box.

It tastes nasty….

So does two tablespoons of greasy fat, so get over it.

Follow me and I will show you how to build a new foundation for healthy living that won’t clog your arteries and add to your waistline, but that will lower your A1C and your blood pressure. It will melt your waistline and feed you muscles and give you energy. It will clear your skin and you will discover a new level of regularity. You won’t ache all over at the end of the day when you lay down to sleep at night.
It all starts today with a single baby step.

Got Spinach?

Well then what are you waiting for? Let’s eat.
